  I went to Dr. Shasti with significant lower back pain. In the course of doing a routine check on me, he tested all my reflexes and discovered a serious problem in my cervical spine. I was skeptical at first but an MRI test confirmed his diagnosis. He impressed upon me the serious nature of the problem, and got me into surgery as soon as possible. It was successful and I am very grateful to him. Dr. Shasti suggested several options for the lower back pain to avoid surgery and encouraged me to pursue alternatives. (How many surgeons do that!?!) After many months I decided to go ahead with the surgery, which was also successful. I am finally pain-free. Several weeks after the surgery, I had an unusual complication, and he was immediately responsive and ensured I was treated that day. Dr. Shasti is an extraordinarily caring and compassionate doctor, who will take the time to explain everything to you and answer your questions. He will give you his cell phone for any problems that arise, and call you on the weekend to see how you are recovering. The entire staff is friendly and go out of their way to help you. You may have a wait time in the waiting room. It's worth it!
